Some oil refining enterprise is the large and complex components of water consumption and drainage, oil refining wastewater, biological inhibitory substances (oil, amines, phenols, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and benzene and its derivatives) content is high, poor biodegradability, processing is difficult, therefore, to introduce and develop advanced sewage treatment technology and efficient, has far-reaching significance for the sustainable development of oil refining enterprises. We compared in different conditions, effects of inorganic flocculant polymeric aluminum chloride flocculation treatment of refinery waste water, the optimum conditions of PAC(PAC 30%) refining wastewater treatment, and provide some theoretical basis for treatment of oil refinery wastewater.
The flocculant dosage of flocculation effect of PAC-Poly aluminium chloride
The initial, the dosage of PAC 20-90mg/L, NH3-N and the petroleum substances with the removal rate of PAC flocculant to increase the amount of the slow increase in refinery wastewater, and the removal rate of COD is slightly decreased. In the PAC dosage of 90-180mg/L, NH3-N and petroleum material removal rate increased with the increase of PAC flocculant concentration decreases rapidly, oil pollutant removal rate decreased slightly and then increased slightly, the C0D removal rate in wastewater is slowly rising. Select the PAC best dosage is 90mg/L, the removal rate of COD, the removal rate of NH3-N and petroleum material removal rates were 92.21%, 43.51%, 98.50%.
Effect of deposition time on flocculation effect
Treatment of oil refinery wastewater by PAC, the COD removal rate in wastewater in settling time 10-40min was rapidly rising trend, in settling time 40-60min remained unchanged; the NH3-N removal rate in wastewater in settling time 10-60min increased rapidly; the removal rate of petroleum substances in wastewater, the settling time 10-40min rose marginally, removal rate also declined slightly in the range of 40-60min. Comprehensive consideration, determine the PAC oil refinery wastewater treatment best settling time of 40min.
Effect of pH value on the flocculation effect
Effect of PAC treatment of oil refinery wastewater influenced by pH. In oil refining waste water pH is 4.0-7.0, the COD removal rate in wastewater, the removal rate of NH3-N increased rapidly, in the pH of 7.0-9.0, COD in wastewater, NH3-N removal rate decreased, comprehensive consideration, PAC refining wastewater treatment, the optimum pH is 7.
In short, Poly aluminium chloride as a kind of organic polymer flocculant for treatment of refinery waste water has the characteristics of small dosage, sedimentation time is short, pH adaptability, so is suitable for treatment of oil refinery wastewater.
